Thought for the Day:
John 15.7 (NIV) If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
We must understand and not abuse Jesus’ words. We must live our lives in the realized presence of Jesus. Keep that attitude. Read His Word, the Bible, regularly. Allow these words to inhabit you. Now, when you pray, you will be praying His will not your own. He will bring your prayers to fruition.
Once we surrender to Jesus’ grace and the gift of salvation, we become more peaceful and serene. This is such a blessing. In Jesus, we know that all is well. We must not trust our eyes but trust His word. When things go awry, know that it is Jesus changing your immediate course. We know deep within our spirit that all is well though things are not as we planned. Rest in this reality that Jesus will mark your path to peace and serenity.
Each day we climb the ladder of life. We get closer and closer to eternity. God would never plant your feet on an insecure ladder. We cannot see where the ladder is planted. Faith gives you the assurance that you may safely take a new higher step each day. Leave your security to Him and trust that you will not fail or fall. He is all the power and courage you need to keep climbing.
